Fellow Survival Guide
To help you prepare for the Summit, navigate Reykjavik during our convening, and focus on post-Summit action, we've prepared a Fellow Survival Guide for you. As a living document, it will change as the Summit nears, so we advise that you bookmark the URL, rather than download it as a PDF.
SUMMIT.AHEAD. Fellows are asked to pay for their own transportation and accommodation for the duration of their involvement. Below we ask, as a part of accepting and reserving your participation, that you place a 50%, non-refundable commitment fee which represents 50% of the room, board and transportation (within Reykjavik and does not include travel from KEF to Kex Hostel) associated with participation in SUMMIT.AHEAD. of $850 USD, or equivalent. (Please note that the direct costs may include in-kind contributions provided by financial contributors or sponsors in lieu of cash payment.) This fee is non refundable. For Fellows in need of financial assistance, SUMMIT.AHEAD. is organizing a scholarship fund, that provide coverage 100% coverage of the room and board costs above the $425 USD commitment fee for those Fellows to attend. Please note that Fellows' spots must be accepted within 3 days of acceptance or the spot may be released to other Fellow candidates.
Costs you are independently responsible for as a Fellow:
- Transportation to/from Reykjavik
Costs your commitment fee covers:
- Accommodation in Reykjavik during SUMMIT.AHEAD.
- Meals during SUMMIT.AHEAD
- Any transportation to and from the Summit and its associated venues (many of which are in walking distance).
Costs Forum280 (organizer of SUMMIT.AHEAD. is responsible for:
- Summit organization
- Event costs other than room and board for Fellows

The charity must furnish the statement in connection with either the solicitation or the receipt of the quid pro quo contribution.
